Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern the terms and conditions upon which you may access and use the service provided by Tatlas. By creating an account or using the service you represent that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these terms. If you do not accept these terms, you must refrain from using the service.
1. Parties and Definitions
In this document "Tatlas" or the "Provider" means the party operating the service; "User" or "you" means the natural person creating an account. "Content" comprises all taste records, ratings, comments, images and profile information uploaded to or created within the service by the User. "Service" means the web application accessible at the tatlas.com.tr domain (and the other addresses that redirect to it) and its associated components. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between the parties.2. Account Creation and Account Security
In order to create an account you must provide accurate, current and complete information. Maintaining the confidentiality of your password and accepting responsibility for all activity carried out through your account rests exclusively with you. Should you identify or suspect unauthorised access to your account, you must change your password without delay and notify us accordingly. It is prohibited for a natural person to create multiple accounts in order to influence ratings, rankings or community metrics.3. Scope of Permitted Use
Tatlas is designed for personal use. The User may record and rate the venues they visit, may elect to make those records public, and may view the public content of other users. Commercial exploitation of the service, bulk downloading of content, automated scraping, and transfer of content into any other product or database are prohibited without the Provider's prior written consent.4. Intellectual Property and Content Licence
Intellectual property rights in the content you upload vest exclusively in you, and Tatlas asserts no proprietary claim over them. Where you elect to make a record public, you grant a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence limited solely to displaying, storing and technically processing that content within the service. That licence terminates prospectively upon your reverting the record to private or deleting it. Your content is not sold for advertising purposes or licensed to third parties. Rights in the Tatlas name, logo and interface design vest in the Provider.5. Integrity of Reviews
The fundamental value of the service lies in records being grounded in genuine experience. The User undertakes to submit reviews only in respect of venues personally visited. Writing reviews in consideration of payment, discount, product or any other benefit; awarding scores for the purpose of artificially elevating a venue or disadvantaging a competing venue; and manipulating ratings through fake accounts or coordinated conduct are strictly prohibited. The Provider reserves the right to remove content contravening this clause without prior notice.6. Prohibited Conduct
The User may not publish content that is abusive, constitutes hate speech, harassment, threats or discrimination; that discloses the personal data of third parties without their consent; that infringes intellectual property rights; or that is misleading, fraudulent or otherwise contrary to applicable law. These prohibitions apply equally to content sent through the in-app private messaging feature; a user who receives unwanted messages may block the sending account to permanently stop further message requests from it. It is further prohibited to place a disproportionate load upon the service infrastructure, to attempt to circumvent security measures, to submit bulk automated requests, to reverse engineer the service, or to attempt unauthorised access to the accounts of other users.7. Venue Information and Third-Party Content
Venue names, addresses and coordinates are substantially entered by users, and the Provider gives no undertaking as to their accuracy, currency or completeness. The map view utilises tiles supplied by an external provider. The ratings and comments appearing on a venue page reflect the subjective opinions of the relevant users and do not constitute an official assessment by Tatlas.8. Suspension of Accounts and Termination
Where a breach of these terms is established, the Provider shall be entitled, proportionately to the gravity of the breach, to remove content, suspend the account temporarily, or in cases of serious or repeated breach, to close the account. So far as practicable, the User shall be notified before any measure is applied and afforded a reasonable period in which to remedy the breach. The User may close their account at any time and without stating reasons via Settings > Delete account. Upon termination, provisions which by their nature ought to survive shall remain in force.9. Provision of the Service and Limitation of Liability
The Provider endeavours, with due care and diligence, to deliver the service on an uninterrupted and secure basis; it does not, however, warrant that the service will operate without fault or interruption in all circumstances. The service may be temporarily suspended for maintenance, updates or technical necessity. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Provider shall not be liable for indirect loss, loss of profit, loss of data, or the accuracy of content shared by users. This limitation does not extend to liability arising from the Provider's wilful misconduct or gross negligence. Users are advised to retain their own backup of any content of importance to them.10. Amendments, Governing Law and Jurisdiction
The Provider reserves the right to update these terms from time to time. The current version is at all times published on this page together with its effective date; the User shall be separately notified of material amendments. Continued use of the service following the entry into force of an amendment constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The Istanbul (Çağlayan) Courts and Execution Offices shall have jurisdiction over any dispute arising between the parties. In respect of Users holding consumer status, the right to apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committees and Consumer Courts under Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection is reserved. Questions and requests may be directed to us through the channel set out on the Contact page.11. Copyright Infringement Notices (Notice and Takedown)
If you believe that content available on the service infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, you may submit a notice through the channel set out on the Contact page. To be actionable, your notice should identify the specific content and its location on the service, describe the right you hold and the basis of your claim, provide your contact details, and include a good-faith statement that the use complained of is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law. On receipt of a sufficiently detailed notice, the Provider will review it and may remove or disable access to the content pending that review. A User whose content is removed may submit a counter-notice explaining why the content does not infringe; repeated or clearly unfounded infringement by a User's account may result in suspension or closure of that account under Section 8.
